*SVOD Conference is a non-profit event. The registration fees are significantly below the cost of attendance thanks to the generous support of our sponsors. If you have a special registration code, please enter it during your on-line registration.

NOTE: You must specify name of registering company in the Additional details field while making your payment. Otherwise your payment might not be matched to your on-line registration.

INDIVIDUALS

Individuals must submit an on-line registration form by November 10. Credit card payments are processed at the time of registration. You will receive an email confirmation shortly after the registration is complete. For Check/Money Order/Wire Transfer payments registration is complete only after you payment is received. An invoice will be sent to you from the organizers of the conference, and payment must be received within two weeks from the date on the invoice.

COMPANIES

Number of participants from a company is not limited. Each participant must submit an individual registration. EXPO Stand Exhibition. If a company wishes to participate in the EXPO with a stand, one of the company participants must submit a “Full Participant and Exhibitor” registration; remaining participants submit “Full Participant” registrations. Cost of the Stand Exhibition is included in the “Full Participant and Exhibitor” registration fee. Companies eligible for a stand exhibition:
  • Start-up technology companies founded by entrepreneurs from the FSU countries;
  • Start-up technology companies with core technologies originating from the FSU countries;
  • Non-profit and government organizations and associations supporting entrepreneurship and commercialization of innovative research and development.
Booth. Large/multinational technology companies may participate in the Exhibition with a booth. The booth must be provided by the exhibitor. The fee for a booth is $5,000. Payment is processed on an individual basis. Request must be placed with the SVOD executive committee here.

PRESENTATIONS AND BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION

25 innovative projects will be pre-selected by the SVOD Expert Panel for presentations to the audience of US investors and potential corporate partners. Companies presentations will be judged by our distinguished Panel of Judges. Only registered participants can participate in the selection process, and the presentation slot is not guaranteed at the time of registration. There is no additional fee for a presentation. The selection decision is made solely on the merits of the project. Companies willing to participate in the selection process must have one of their participants
  • indicate this in his/her on-line registration that s/he interested in presentation
  • submit up to 3 page Executive Summary in English for consideration by the Expert Panel. You may review Guidelines for Executive Summaries on our website.
Registrations with requests for a presentation must be submitted no later then October 15, 2006. SVOD will inform you about the verdict of the Expert Panel via email within 2 weeks of the original registration.

*IMPORTANT NOTES*

SVOD reserves the right to reject any “Full Participant” or “Full Participant and Exhibitor” registration. In this case a refund is issued within two weeks of the notice. The registration fees do not include hotel accommodations or airport transfers. You may switch participants at any given time, but you must notify the organizers of the Conference in writing. Refunds: If you are not able to obtain an entrance visa into the United States in order to participate in the conference, your registration fee will be fully refunded. In order to receive your refund, you must submit a written request no later than two weeks before the start of the conference.
