The American Business Association of Russian Professionals (AmBAR) launches its third annual technology investment conference Silicon Valley Open Doors (SVOD), which will take place in Computer History Museum, Mountain View, ( California, USA) on November 8-9, 2007.

[0]The SVOD Conference has become a premier industry event bringing together more than 300 innovators from the Former Soviet Union and US; prominent Silicon Valley venture capital firms; leading technology and business media; and top US technology companies. SVOD is the only event of its kind bringing dozens of high-tech companies from Russia and Ukraine together with US sources of capital.  On the one hand, it introduces American venture capital community to ideas, technologies, and entrepreneurial talent that come out of universities and research labs in the Former Soviet Union. On the other, SVOD provides an unparalleled opportunity for entrepreneurs to commercialize their ideas globally, learn US venture fundraising practices, acquire necessary business acumen and skills, meet US investors, and create partnership ties with Silicon Valley's ecosystem.
